Not only did I get to hear the new Full of Hell album, but the new INTEGRITY as well.

Out of the list of records I was hoping to get, I was only able to snag the last Botch record. A strong positive for what is otherwise a bust for me on Record Store Day Was hoping to get the Cave-In record. I did however buy High on Fire and Watain for my brother, which he was stoked about.

When it comes to metal, hardcore, punk-rock, and the like, there’s never a shortage of angst to be expressed. Some bands do it with gusto, while others just come off sort of gimmicky. For Colorado fiends, Call Of The Void, they present themselves in a manner that would have your parents questioning your listening habits. Their debut album Dragged Down A Dead End Path, which is being released via Relapse Records, is a culmination of crust, punk, grind, and powerviolence – which when combined, offer up twenty-five minutes of relentless riffs, pounding drums, and ill-tempered screams and shouts that are sure to turn your scowl upside down…or better yet, embed it deeper into your face.  read more…

“Last week we announced our fourth signing to the Monolithic Records family in the form of angry New York thrashers Thracian. Their fusion of aggressive melodic death metal, thrash and metalcore makes for a veritable riff sandwich.  Channelling the pissed off spirit of Jeff Walker and Heartwork era Carcass, Thracian are a one of a kind metalcore band that will blow you away.  Gears has been a long time coming and is a huge step up in terms of intensity from their previous release, the excellent Blight.” - The Monolith

Now available via Monolithic Records: Regular EP | Deluxe EP

After a very long wait, our Gears EP will finally be available March 19th through Monolithic Records, and we couldn’t be more stoked! We are joining the MR family, which includes Brent A Petrie, Towering Filth, and Sockweb.

Thanks go out to The Monolith for creating a record label that focuses purely on the bands and their music. Proud to be apart of it all, and excited to finally get our album out to the public.
