Converge - Petitioning Forever
Petitioning the Empty Sky and When Forever Comes Crashing are too good. Sure, Jane Doe is better as a cohesive work of art, but god dammit, I’m moshing just THINKING about the songs on these discs.
While Jane Doe is no doubt their opus, these albums are true classics, and would be a crime to ignore. It’s a shame when fans only know of Jane Doe and beyond and never take the time to listen to their earlier material. When Forever Comes Crashing is still one of my all time favorite albums.
